Capital University Law School Family Advocacy Clinic

When low-income victims in Central Ohio need legal help, they have few places to turn. Through Coalition funding, the Capital University Law School launched its Family Advocacy Clinic in October 2000 to provide free legal services to qualified persons. Since its inception, clinic attorneys have helped over 913 victims with protection orders and divorce proceedings. In 2002, the clinic received additional funding for a Contested Child Custody Project which allows the clinic to increase staff and services.
