Victims Are Frighteningly Alone When Resources
Are Not Available.

Central Ohio social service organizations are doing a good job providing shelter and support to victims, yet gaps exist – particularly on a more global scale – as our large institutions interact with victims. The Victim Services Task Force is working to ensure that we develop the programs lacking in our community and to encourage collaboration among our key institutions that touch families in crisis.

Family violence is not restricted to any one neighborhood or socio-economic level. As we become increasingly diverse, our population includes non-English speaking people representing many different cultures and family attitudes. This makes our challenge to provide necessary services that much greater.
