The Legal System Task Force began work on the Domestic Violence Response & Instructional Guide: an Interactive Training Tool in November 2007. The web-based training tool can be used by law enforcement, prosecutors, courts and legal professionals as a means of domestic violence education, as a reference source of domestic violence services within our community and as a tool for officers on the scene of a domestic violence call.

Much of the information incorporated into the training portions of the training is based on the results of a survey and focus groups created to elicit challenges faced by legal professionals encountering domestic violence in their line of work. Also, included in the training is a glossary, video training demonstrations and a search engine to be used as a quick reference.
