Catholic Dioceses of Columbus Training :
Led by Bishop James A. Griffin, in 2002 the Catholic Diocese of Columbus committed to a massive training effort directed at over 3,000 parish and diocesan staff. The Coalition provided the tools needed for identification, intervention, and prevention of family violence. This training has served as a prototype for other faith communities throughout Central Ohio.

Sabbath Weekend:
To carry on the work begun at the Interfaith Forum, local religious leaders called for a Break the Silence Sabbath Weekend on January 19-21, 2001. On these dates, congregations throughout Central Ohio heard a unified “no tolerance” message about family violence in pulpit sermons. Family violence prevention and referral materials were also distributed.
